Elizabeth Turner Haase, Ph.D. is a psychologist in private practice in Washington, D.C. In addition to her general psychology practice, Dr. Haase has specialized for over thirty years in the areas of death, dying, illness, bereavement and trauma.
She has trained mental health professionals, ministers, hospital caregivers, doctors, nurses and chaplains locally and nationally in these areas of expertise.
Over many years, Dr. Haase has counseled and taught from a holistic perspective helping clients and trainees to focus on their strengths in the healing process. She believes in the interconnection between psychological, physical, spiritual and emotional needs and encourages the development of self-care for clients and trainees alike.
